ENJOY AN EVENING OF GREAT EATING AT THESE CORPUS CHRISTI RESTAURANTS

If you love seafood as much as I do, you will definitely want to check out these Corpus Christi restaurants. The Water Street Oyster Bar is a fantastic restaurant located downtown. And, right next door is the Water Street Seafood Co. These are spectacular restaurants with great menus.

Another great seafood restaurant is one owned and operated by my grandma's cousins. It is called the Crab Inn. The Crab Inn, however, is not located in Corpus, but in between Aransas Pass and Rockport. It is not terribly far. They serve fantastic seafood, so it is definitely worth the hike.

More Corpus Christi restaurants that are worth considering are Landry's, Joe's Crab Shack, Blackbeard's, and Two Georges Seafood. Landry's and Joe's Crab Shack are located at the Corpus Christi Marina. Blackbeard's is located right across from the Radisson Hotel on Corpus Christi Beach and Two Georges is located on Everhart.

Being only a three hour drive to Mexico, you might imagine that there are plenty of Mexican restaurants in Corpus Christi. And guess what, you are right! You do have your major restaurant chains of course, but it is those "hole in the wall" places that are the true gems.

The La Iguana restaurants are great places to sit down and enjoy Mexican food. There are currently four La Iguana restaurants. Two are located in Corpus, one is located in Portland, and the other is in Kingsville.

I spent nearly a year in Asia on a study abroad program for my college studies. I was introduced to a wide variety of different Asian cuisines. It was the first time I had sushi. From that time on I was hooked. I love to eat sushi. Two good sushi hang outs in Corpus are Aka Sushi and Imperial Cafe & Sushi Bar.

A fun place to hang out and spend an evening is downtown at the Executive Surf Club. The surf club has great food and live entertainment. Wallbanger's is a fantastic hamburger joint. It is a great alternative to the major fast food chains.

The island sports plenty of terrific places to eat as well. I will provide more information on those restaurants when I build my sister site. But, if you are looking for a great pizza joint, Padre Pizzeria & Gourmet Grill has fantastic pizza! It is really good. I ordered from Padre Pizzeria many times when I was living on the island.
