The two Corpus Christi malls are Padre Staples Mall and Sunrise Mall. The city is also considering a proposal for a 1.5 million square foot westside mall. This mall will be called Crosstown Commons.

Padre Staples Mall.

Padre Staples Mall and Sunrise Mall are located near each other on South Padre Island Drive (SPID). I usually always went to the Padre Staples Mall. This mall is focused primarily around retail stores. Stores at Padre Staples include Gap, Abercrombie & Fitch, Express, American Eagle, and of course plenty of others. The mall also sports a huge carousel!

Sunrise Mall consists primarily of specialty stores and service-based businesses. These include the Academy of Martial Arts, Rock N Roll Plus, South Texas Chess Center, and a poker store called Caught You Bluffing Poker Supplies. The chess center has camps that teaches kids how to play the game.

Both of the Corpus Christi malls have food courts with a variety of choices. Sunrise Mall also has a discount cinema. However, the movies they show have already been out for quite a while.
