KICKBACK AND RELAX ON CORPUS CHRISTI BEACH

Corpus Christi Beach is the biggest beach located in the city. This beach offers calm, clear waters and clean sandy shores. The beach is popular with those staying along the bayfront, downtown, and of course along the beach.

I have not spent a whole lot of time at Corpus Beach. I can remember only a handful of times when I was there. I have visited the beach recently, however, to get some photos. If you decide to spend some time on Corpus Beach you will have a wonderful time.

Several beach resorts and beach condos run along the shore at Corpus Beach. There is the Radisson Hotel and Quality Inn & Suites. The Radisson is the most popular with vacationers. Villa del Sol, just down the road, offers condo rentals. Renting a vacation condo is a fantastic way to spend time with your family.

Corpus Christi Beach is popular with those who just want to relax. You will not find the hustle and bustle here that you find on the beaches of Padre Island. It is a great area for fishing right from the shore. And if you do not mind waking up early, you can bird watch as you watch a fantastic sunrise.

The fact is that Corpus Beach is quite short. It can not be more than a mile from one end to the other. The longer and more popular beaches are located on the island. Those beaches offer much better surf and a greater array of activities.

This is OK though. Corpus Beach is for those beach goers who are looking for a great alternative. You are provided with fantastic views of downtown Corpus, the aquarium, and the Lex. Corpus Beach is great for combing through the sand for sea shells.

Corpus Beach has bathhouses, restroom facilities, cabanas, and picnic shelters. BBQ pits are available. So, if you just want to get away from the hectics of everyday life, spend some time relaxing on Corpus Christi Beach.
