Are you thinking about moving down South? Maybe you're looking to buy your first home, or perhaps a vacation home to relax in. Hands down this is the place to be. Take a walk along the beaches of beautiful Padre Island and watch the famous Texas sunset.
Corpus Christi is a popular destination for what the locals call "snow birds." Snow birds are in reality those winter Texans who head South during the winter months to escape the bitter cold of the northern states. And why not visit Corpus? Corpus boasts spectacular weather throughout the year.
A SUNSET SAIL

The city and surrounding areas boast a variety of festivals and events. Bayfest is the city's waterfront festival and consists of carnival rides, great food, live entertainment, arts and crafts, and games. Bayfest is held each year in September. You will also enjoy the Shrimporee, touted as the "Biggest Shrimp Festival in Texas." And they do mean big! Sink your teeth into some South Texas shrimp. Yes, they are the best.
Corpus is a top destination for water sport events. So, if you love being on the water, you will definitely love Corpus Christi. Take your pick between kitesurfing, surfing, sailing, or even windsurfing. Not into surfing? No problem. You can experience the South Texas waves by boogie boarding. This is what I did. And it's still a blast while you experience riding the waves.
